Pike are predators, but they do not just eat fish, sometimes as big as themselves. The evidence on this video, when a duck family is quietly bathing, unaware of danger: a pike lurking, motionless.
When it decides to attack, it swims very fast, and although the mother duck tries to protect her cubs the predator, grabs a duckling.
Poor baby duck, and poor mama duck 🙁
