Monster Rainbows in Jurassic Lake

jurassic lake fly fishingThe Jurassic Lake in southern Argentina: a huge lake (20 by 20 km) in the beautiful Patagonian region. Untouched nature, incredible landscapes, intense wild life , with many pumas.
And above all the Jurassic Lake is considered to be the largest fishery in the world for monstrous rainbow trouts: the average weight of the rainbow this lake is between 10 and 20 pounds!
Lack of local population, remoteness from any form of “civilization”, the systematic practice of catch and release, explain such a concentration of trout record.
A paradise for fly fishermen. It is not uncommon to catch a hundred trouts per fishing day!
But paradise has a cost: starting about 5000 € for a dozen fishing days (excluding travel to Buenos Aires).
